Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook gives a great presentation outlining the next step of Social. Timeline, facebook’s official name for their new profile, will bring together your social graph on Facebook and create a rich, compelling and attractive view into your past and summarize it on a page.

At first I was seriously skeptical, but after watching the last 15 minutes as one of the top VP’s of Facebook so clearly gave an insight to his life and how all those moments and information are already on Facebook. Now Facebook is starting to get start and helping create your circle of life and explain real life situations in which Facebook will become the modern day version of the scrapbook.

I commend Facebook for what they have done. While it is extremely scary that everything you do is now readily accessible to everyone I know, it is the future and accept it or not, its here and only growing and its going Frictionless sharing

This presents an entirely exciting times to programmers like myself with the possibility to create compelling apps that not only enable our users to share but to create apps that tell a story of our users lives. Not just one user, but groups of users with similarities.
